Recipe for your Canine
For your pet's protection, it is recommended that you consult your
veterinarian before baking any recipes for your pet. Each dog's age,
needs, allergies, and reactions are different.
Good Dog Cheese Biscuits
- 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 lb margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cl garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 cup milk
Mix cheese and margarine, add egg and garlic, mix well. Add flour, wheat
germ and salt, mix well until it forms a dough. Add the milk and mix again. Chill 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375. Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4", cut into fun
shapes with cookie cutters of your choice. Be sure to check out our fabulous cookie cutter sets! For the Thanksgiving holiday it
would be fun to cut out shapes of a turkey, pumpkin, fall leaves, etc.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for approximately 16 to 18 minutes.
Recipe for your Feline
Purrringly Good Shrimp Feast
- 5 cooked and chilled medium shrimp
- ½ hard boiled egg, finely chopped
- 1 sprig parsley, chopped
Mince the shrimp and form a mound (in any shape you wish) on the center of a plate. Sprinkle with egg and garnish with parsley. Keep chilled until gone.

- Remember to spay and neuter your pets to keep the population of unwanted pets down.
